Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-M)
Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-M) is a powerful genetic test that may be performed during IVF treatment to screen and better select embryos. PGT is performed on a small embryo biopsy and identifies specific genetic conditions such as, cystic fibrosis, fragile X syndrome, muscular dystrophy, Huntington disease, and others, to select the healthiest embryos for implantation.
The diagnostic accuracy of PGT is between 90-99% when looking for a known genetic condition.
Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A)
Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A) for aneuploidy is a test that may be performed on embryos during IVF treatment to identify chromosomally healthy embryos for transfer during an IVF procedure.
PGT offers comprehensive analysis of all 24 chromosome types: the two sex chromosomes (X and Y) and the 22 other non-sex chromosomes. Normally there are 23 pairs of chromosomes in each human cell. A numerical change in the number of chromosomes is called aneuploidy. Aneuploidy is responsible for the vast majority of spontaneous miscarriages.
Endometrial Receptivity Analysis (ERA)
Endometrial Receptivity Analysis, or ERA, is a state-of-the-art technique that helps evaluate the female’s endometrial receptivity, or essentially the time sensitive window to best implant an embryo.
