About Dr. Elliot
Dr. Jason Elliott, BSc, MSc, MD, FRCSC obtained his undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of British Columbia. He then completed his medical degree and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Manitoba. He subsequently worked as an associate physician at Heartland Fertility and Gynecology clinic and has since relocated to Toronto to complete a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons accredited fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Mount Sinai Fertility. He is currently completing the research requirements for the Clinician Investigator Program, and plans to return full-time to Heartland and the University of Manitoba in 2018.
Dr. Elliott has been actively involved in research during all of his medical training and is currently involved in multiple studies relate to polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometrial receptivity, frozen embryo transfers and IVF outcomes utilizing surgically obtained sperm. Dr. Elliott has published his research findings in respected peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national and international conferences. He is a member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC), the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Dr Elliott is happy to offer patients reproductive care in the form of various fertility treatments as well as surgical management of fertility-related gynecologic conditions through minimally-invasive hysteroscopy and laparoscopy approaches. Dr. Elliott looks forward to joining the Heartland team and assisting individuals and couples in building their families.
