The most rewarding part of my job is being able to find the best treatment solution for each individual patient or couple and then to get to show them their first prenatal ultrasound. I also love meeting their babies!
Dr. Ola Haakman, BSc, MD, FRCSC obtained her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Manitoba. She also completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Manitoba. She subsequently completed her fellowship training in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Western University.
Dr. Haakman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at the University of Manitoba and an Associate Physician at Heartland Fertility, practicing Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Dr. Haakman’s academic and research interests include assisted reproductive technology and fertility preservation. She is passionate about offering her patients a wide range of reproductive treatment options including surgical treatment with minimally invasive hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.
Proud to call Winnipeg her home, Dr. Haakman hopes to provide evidence-based, compassionate care in helping patients achieve their reproductive goals.
